It adds a layer of grit that grounds the fantastical elements.

For beginners, picking a character in tekken can be daunting. The move lists are encyclopedic. However, the new "Special Style" control scheme is a genuine game-changer for accessibility. It allows casual players to execute cool combos and key moves without memorizing ten-button strings. While purists might scoff, anything that brings new blood into the fighting game community is a win in my book. It bridges the gap between "I want to see cool stuff happen" and "I want to learn how to play."
