I remember visiting the Museum of Natural Science as a kid and being absolutely mesmerized by the dinosaur exhibits. It sparked a lifelong love of science and history.
Of course, no trip to Houston is complete without a visit to Space Center Houston, the official visitor center of NASA's Johnson Space Center. One of my personal favorites is trying different barbecue joints around the city. Each one has its own unique style and flavor, and it's always an adventure to discover a new favorite. Don't forget to try some of the local craft breweries too! They're popping up all over the city and offering some truly exceptional beers.

Despite being a large city, Houston offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Buffalo Bayou Park is a beautiful green space that runs through the heart of the city, offering hiking and biking trails, kayaking, and stunning views of the skyline. Discovery Green is another popular park located in downtown Houston, hosting concerts, festivals, and other events throughout the year. Evenings spent strolling along Buffalo Bayou, watching the bats emerge at dusk, are some of my fondest memories.
