તાજેતરના વર્ષોમાં, ભારત અને વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝ વચ્ચે ઘણી રોમાંચક શ્રેણીઓ રમાઈ છે. ભારતીય ટીમે પોતાના ઘરમાં વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝને હરાવ્યું છે, જ્યારે વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝે પણ પોતાના ઘરે ભારતીય ટીમને સખત ટક્કર આપી છે. વિરાટ કોહલી, રોહિત શર્મા અને જસપ્રીત બુમરાહ જેવા ખેલાડીઓએ ભારતીય ટીમને ઘણી મેચો જીતાડી છે, જ્યારે વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝ પાસે પણ શિમરોન હેટમાયર, કિરોન પોલાર્ડ અને જેસન હોલ્ડર જેવા પ્રતિભાશાળી ખેલાડીઓ છે.
હું તાજેતરમાં જ ભારત અને વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝ વચ્ચેની એક મેચ જોઈ રહ્યો હતો. ભારતીય ટીમની બેટિંગ ખૂબ જ મજબૂત હતી, પરંતુ વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝના બોલરોએ પણ શાનદાર પ્રદર્શન કર્યું. છેલ્લી ઓવર સુધી મેચ ખૂબ જ રોમાંચક રહી અને અંતે ભારતે મેચ જીતી લીધી. આવી મેચો ક્રિકેટને વધુ રસપ્રદ બનાવે છે.
